Project Details
- The “Post-Combustion” CCS unit at RKDF University, Bhopal has been indigenously designed, manufactured and installed by Sunrise CSP India Pvt. Ltd.
- It is the world’s first Solar Integrated CCS unit, which is also the lowest energy consuming plant in the world, by reducing usage of conventional energy for regeneration of CO2 .
- The pure CO2 (gas) is extracted at end of the process as a raw material for bio-diesel production, solid CO2 and CO2 bottle to metal industry or beverage plants.
